Though a must see if you're visiting London, Parliament Square gets pretty busy, so if you're looking to rest for a moment from the hustle and bustle, this park is for you.

As you enter Victoria Tower Gardens, from the entrance closest to the Houses of Parliament you'll be greeted by one of my favourite statues in all of London, that of the Suffragette Emily Pankhurst.

If you then walk through the park, away from Parliament you will see tucked at the end, the children's playground. Newly built and only a few years old, the park has picnic benches, swings, slides, water play, a large sandpit and much more.
