Maybe the best food market in all of London...

Borough Market is tucked literally underneath London Bridge and is world famous and it’s easy to see why. There's some debate as to how long Borough Market has been in existence and though moved sites to where it sits now in the 18th century some say the market has been around since the 11th Century!

Borough Market isn't just a tourist market, you'll find many a Londoner popping down for some grub and it's not hard to see why..

Whether your looking for a tasty treat, hot lunch, baked goods, fresh fruit, veg, cheese, meat, cheese, poultry or fish, oh did I say cheese?? Borough Market literally has it all. The Market caters to almost every dietary requirement.

Did I mention they also have a phenomenal Gluten Free Stand?

The best time to visit Borough Market is Wednesday - Saturday between 10am-5pm. There is a limited market on Monday and Tuesday. To check opening times, click here

P.S. They also have sheltered places to sit and each your lunch! BONUS

Closest underground/ train station: London Bridge Top tip: if you have energy to walk, I recommend starting at Southbank and walking the 1.5 miles along the Thames to the market 👌
