I absolutely love Greenwich. It has to be one of my favourite spots in all of London. If you've not yet been, make sure you check out my previous blog on visiting Greenwich.
After a busy day we decided to pop into the National Maritime Museum before heading home. Last time we visited I noticed there was a sign for a children's area called AHOY! however it was closed off due to some renovation work happening.
After a run around on the Giant Map (located upstairs next to the cafe), we decided to go investigate the AHOY! Children's play area, or immersive gallery. Needless to say, we were pretty chuffed we did!

Basically anything you associate with the water they likely have an interactive smaller version of it for 0-7 year olds to play with. Fancy serving wooden ice creams? Rowing a boat? Steering a boat, dressing up like a sailor or even working in a fish market..the list could go on and on.

The gallery is FREE admission and is open from 10-4:45/5pm. Click here for further information. [Apparently AHOY! is sometimes pre-booked for schools groups so make sure you double check with them]

If you're heading to Greenwich be sure to check out my blog where I cover my favourite must see spots in Greenwich.
